About the Position
We are looking for a Senior Reliability Engineer to join a high-performing maintenance and reliability team. In this role, you will focus on improving equipment performance, reducing downtime, and ensuring assets operate safely and efficiently throughout their lifecycle.
This is a hands-on, senior-level position where you will play a key role in driving reliability strategies, solving complex technical issues, and influencing cross-functional teams in a regulated production environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement reliability and maintenance strategies to improve asset performance
- Analyze equipment performance data and define KPIs to drive continuous improvement
- Lead root cause investigations and translate findings into sustainable solutions
- Optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Identify risks related to equipment reliability and define mitigation plans
- Contribute to asset lifecycle decisions, from design through to operation
- Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams
- Support and guide less experienced engineers, promoting best practices
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial)
- Proven experience in reliability, maintenance, or asset management within a regulated industry
- Strong knowledge of reliability methodologies such as RCM, FMEA, RCA, and Weibull analysis
- Hands-on experience with CMMS/EAM systems (e.g., Maximo or similar)
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders
- Experience in GMP or similar regulated environments is highly preferred
- A proactive mindset with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
