For our production team in Rotterdam, we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Maintenance Engineer.

You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring proper maintenance and optimal operation of equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Analyzing and resolving malfunctions and performing repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Developing and implementing maintenance plans to improve the reliability and uptime of equipment.
• Collaborating with maintenance technicians, production staff, and the Reliability Specialist to efficiently solve operational issues and develop long-term maintenance strategies.
• Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new equipment and integrating it into existing systems.
• Drafting, managing, and optimizing maintenance instructions, technical documentation, and spare parts management.
• Performing and coordinating inspections and analyses to determine maintenance priorities.
• Working with digital maintenance programs and RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance).
• Initiating and implementing improvement projects in the areas of maintenance and reliability.

About you:

Education and Work Experience:

• A completed higher professional (HBO) or university degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, AOT, or a similar field).
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a production environment.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong analytical, cognitive, and problem-solving abilities.
• Technical creativity and a transparent, structured way of working.
• Experience with digital maintenance programs and RCM.
• Enthusiasm, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English
