For our production team in Rotterdam, we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Maintenance Engineer.

You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring proper maintenance and optimal operation of equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Analyzing and resolving malfunctions and performing repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Developing and implementing maintenance plans to improve the reliability and uptime of equipment.
- Collaborating with maintenance technicians, production staff, and the Reliability Specialist to efficiently solve operational issues and develop long-term maintenance strategies.
- Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new equipment and integrating it into existing systems.
- Drafting, managing, and optimizing maintenance instructions, technical documentation, and spare parts management.
- Performing and coordinating inspections and analyses to determine maintenance priorities.
- Working with digital maintenance programs and RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance).
- Initiating and implementing improvement projects in the areas of maintenance and reliability.
About you:
Education and Work Experience:
- A completed higher professional (HBO) or university degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, AOT, or a similar field).
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a production environment.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong analytical, cognitive, and problem-solving abilities.
- Technical creativity and a transparent, structured way of working.
- Experience with digital maintenance programs and RCM.
- Enthusiasm, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in both Dutch and English
